This toy drive focuses on children who have been abused or neglected and are in foster care. Sergeant Jeremy Brown, Deputy Kyle Nickell, and Deputy Heather Stanley joined us at Masjid Al Hayy to speak to our congregation. At first the reaction was “is everything ok” an obvious reaction when you see men and women in uniform. The interaction was positive and Officers were very grateful for the hospitality. Children had the opportunity to interact and take pictures with the officers.
The collection boxes will be at the mosque till Friday afternoon. There is still time to bring in the toys! All the donations will be delivered to Seminole County Sheriff’s Office to Leutenant Daniel on Friday afternoon.
